The Doctor's challange

The TARDIS was spinning through space, and the Doctor was running around the TARDIS, flipping leavers and pushing buttons to his hearts content. With one final thud, the TARDIS landed and he grabbed his long trench coat. Yanking the door open, the Doctor stepped out onto a beautiful grassy landscape with an orange sunset on the horizon. Taking a deep breath, gazed across the breathtaking scene. Taking long powerful strides forward, He walked down a steep slope rather quickly and steadily for walking so fast. As he got to the bottom, he spotted a village. Smiling to himself, he strode towards it, Not noticing the shadow in the trees.

Katherine saw the strange man walking towards her village and panicked. He couldn't come in there. musn't or he'd be doomed like the rest of them.

The Doctor spotted her and started jogging towards her, not noticing her signs of distress untill it was too late. The world disolved around him and he felt all connections with the TARDIS dissapear. The sudden shock of no connection with the rest of the universe caused him to loose his footing. He felt himself fall forewards and he fell into unconsiousness.

Katherine saw him hit the floor with a dull thud and her soulders sagged.

"I knew i should have shouted." she moaned to herself as she dragged the man into her house.
