Joanna meets the TARDIS

The Doctor flipped a switch on the console, the door open so they had easy acces. He still couldn't find Katherine.

"Bet she's in the shower..." he muttered.

The master walked in with joanna hanging on him "Joanna...this is the tardis"

The Doctor smiled.

"Yeah, it means: Totaly Awsome Random Destinations In Space." his grin went wider.

Will it work? he thought to himself.

Joanna half holding Sam stepped forward swinging back she threw a punch at the doctor "I am not dum I know what it means.." she paused wincing at the pain she felt from moving her arm "I'm not the ear ache I'm the pain in the rear that never goes away " as she finished she sank to her knees "who's about to..." she then passed out

"She is fun" he smiled "You better help her... Weres katherine?"

The Doctor rubbed his chin and watched as joanna passed out.

"She has one HELL of a right hook." he stood up and slipped his hands under her.

"Suppose i'd better get onto healing her." He sighed and help carry her into the infirmary.

"I think she's taking a shower. She was here when i left." he sighed. "I'll look for her when i've helped Joanne"

((Joanna has left the building.))

"Alright... so what do I do for the duration?"

Stay with her if you want. She's not gonna be happy if she wakes up alone."

He set her on the bed and got to work, his glasses slipping onto his nose.

"Give me the Defibrilator." he said as he put an iv into joanna's arm.

"Shes not dead? Wjhy would she need that"

The Doctor sighed and pointed to the I.V.

"This is to replace the nutrients she is low on, and some morphine to stem the pain" he pointed to the Defibrillator.

"That's to replace the burnt skin cells."

"WHatever... Hay Im not your lab monkey!"

The Doctor grinned.

"Sure your not..." he smiled.

Soon he was finished and he turned to the master.

"Ok, i'm done here so i'll leave you with her." he turned away.

"I'll be on the end of the intercom if you need me."

((BRB, gotta go the shop for Joanna. -_-'))

"Whatever" he sighed

The Doctor had been gone for 15 minutes when his voice came over the intercom.

"Master, If you could get to the kitchen asap, it'd be very helpful."

he got up and walked to the kitchen "I aint washing up!"

The Doctor was sat on the floor with Katherine unconscious in his arms.

"I wondered why the TARDIS door was open." he said as the master walked in.

"The people we just dealt with, dealt with Katherine to start with." he showed him her arms.

"See, same burn pattern."

"Is she dead?" he asked slightly concerned

The Doctor shook his head.

"No, she's alive," he looked at her. "Only just though."

"You like her?" he sat on the bench

The Doctor sighed. it was no use denying it this time.

"Yeah." he looked at the master. "But it wouldn't matter even if i didn't. She's my guardian and if she dies, there's no regeneration. Remember?"

"Nope, not a clue...I never liked people...alot"

The Doctor made a "i know" noise in his throat.

"We need to get her help." he said, sliding his hands under her back and knees.

Katherine groaned and opened her eyes.

"Hey Doctor." she said quietly not realising Sam was in there.

"Why do i keep waking up to this? Yuo holding me? It's getting to be a habbit now." she smiled softly and rested her head on his shoulder.

he faked a gaging vomit reaction "No just joking not gonna chuck....maybe....nah... By the way what did she mean before when she said something was wrong?"

The Doctor Shrugged.

"No idea." He held her closer, trying to warm her cold arms and hands.

"What did you mean?" he said to Katherine.
