Driving around in 2010

Sam drove around the streets of london picking up and dropping people off. He was driving when he had one of his recuring headaches. He reached into the glove compartment and took some advil. dropped of his fare and switched the inservice light of. finding a place to park he locked the doors and closed his eyes, Tired from the days work

Katherine stuck her hand out, seeing the black cab and wanting to get out of the soon-to-be-here rain. London always was wet and miserable.

Sam saw her and started the car pulling infront of her

Katherine got in and sat down, pulling her white coat around her to keep her warm. Her blue converse clad feet crossed at the ankles. The bottem of her black jeans soaked, showing her treck through wet streets.

"Powel estate please." and it started raining heavily almost immediately.

"Just in time!" she said smiling

"aLRIGHT THEN...yEAH NICE TIMING" HE SAID LOKING OUT HIS FRONT WINDOW STARTING TO DRIVE"

She smiled and sat back, tiredness taking over her as she gazed over the window. Something red flashed past and she sat bolt upright.

"Did you-" she trailed off, wondering if her tired body was just seeing things

"Did I what mam?" he asked not looking away from the road

Katherine looked again out the window. There it was again. she opened her mouth when beeping came from her pocket along with her mobile phone. She picked it up.

"Hello? Doctor! yeah i just saw it! WHAT!? *sigh* Fine! see you in a bit." she shut the lid on the mobile and pulled a small ceramic ook from her pocket.

"Sorry but change in plan," She said apologeticly. "Follow that Red thing!" the tool's blue tip was beeping erraticly as it crossed infront of them.

That's what i thought i saw. And sorry but you've just been caught up in Monster hunting!" she grinned.

he looked back at her oddly "Aw...Awsome" he smiled and drove after it fast /doctor?...Whys that familiar/

Katherine Laughed.

"Y'no, your the first person i've ever met who actually likes monster hunting!" she fell to the side as they turned the corner. It was a dead end and the red bear-like creature was a the end.

"Stop here!" she shouted and pulled out her phone again. "I'll give you your money in a sec. Just need to-" she didn't finnish her sentence as she continued to dial on her phone.

"Could you open the door please?" she grinned. "Kinda urgent!"

"Oh sure" he hit the auto switch and got out too "What is it?

Her white coat flapped in the wind and the pouring rain as the stood oposit the monster. Her eyes never left it as she walked slowly toward it.

"It's a Coritanue" she said fluently. "From the planet Raxacoricofallapatorious." she pulled out the small device that had started beeping in the cab and twisted the main console part.

"Setting 52D." she muttered. "It's quite young and a stray. The Coritanue accidentaly crashed here a few months ago but Torchwood and UNIT got to the first. Locking them up like animals. Evidently, this one escaped." she took a step forward, her Blue converse shoe stepping in a puddle. She looked down and groaned.

"Wet foot."

"Raxacoricofallapatorious?" the word was familiar to him

Katherine nodded.

"You wont know it. the planet is a paradise with burgundy seas and four polar regions. It truely is beutifull." she sighed and looked up. The Coritanue was gone.

"Where'd it go!?" she span around, her coat whipping around her. "It can read minds, even at that young of an age." she winced and looked at the cab driver.

"What's your name?"

"Uh sam metter" he was worried bout a disappering bear

Katherine frowned. Sam Metter? sounded like an old memory

"Sam tell me, Do you live around here?" she said, still looking all over for the Coritanue. "Quickly! Sorry to sound impatient but it's important."

"Uh yeah 10 minutes drive that way" he pointed of to an estate

Katherine Winced again.

"Then we need to get there quickly!" she ran toward the cab. "Get in!" she jumped into the drivers seat.

he hurried and hopped in the passengers side "Ok then" he buckled up

"Good plan. I learnt how to drive from someone who can't drive!" she laughed and shoved the car into reverse.

"As i said before, the Coritanue is a highly psycic race, they read minds. I'mPartially psycic, my friend is more psycic than me but he's dealing at the other end of the situation. Now, when the Coritanue was stood still before, i could feel it trying to break into my mind but i have strong barriers protecting me." She swung around the corner.

"It couldn't read my mind but it can read yours. Did you get a strange niggling feeling at teh back of your mind before when it was stood still?" she said quickly, rambling as she pulled out the ceramic tool again, turning a red light to green.

"Uh yeah I think I did... It read my memories?"

Katherine shook her head.

"No, it read your Thoughts. That's what makes them so futile to work against, because they're so good at knowing what your about to do." she turned the corner.

"Take me for instance." she said turning right. "I've never been to your house yet i know the way. How? I'm reading your memories. I was taught how to without my enemy knowing." she tapped her nose.

"Good thing to have sometimes. I don't make a habit of it though."

"Enemie? You do this sort of stuff often?"

Katherine Laughed.

"This is my average day!" she stopped the car and go out. A house to the side of them had it's door ripped off it's hinges and Katherine ran into the house.

"Anyone home?" she shouted, stepping lightly over the shattered door.

He followed not caring about the cab or his broken door /Wow...aliens/
