joanna's arrival

Joanna bounced unceremoniously across hard concrete skidding to a stop right next to a large stone water fall.
"now that's gonna hurt" she said trying to stand only to find her left ankle hurt.

The Doctor skidded to a stop beside her and smiled warmly.

"Hello I'm the Doctor, What's your name?" he said helping her up.

Joanna stood up but lent on the strange man "names Joanna, ow my ankle, i think i twisted it when i fell" she said

The Doctor pulled out the Sonic screwdriver and waved it over her.

"Nah, just sprained." he grinned at her. "It'll be fine in a few days." he had just finished his conversation when something flew through the air and hit his back. A look of pain and pure astonishment took over his face before he fell on Joanna.

Joanna roled him over and off her "are you all right Doctor?" she asked checking him over.

He groaned and gasped as she turned him. His chest was in growing pain and he gripped her forarm.

"Help me." he managed. "We need- to get ou-argh-out of here." he gasped as pain ripped through his left heart. He managed to stagger to his feet and staggered to a blue box near a stone building, The Cardiff hall.

He was almost there when his legs gave way and he fell to the floor, struggling to get up.

joanna stood up "a bit sore but utherwise unhurt." seeing the man fall she ran over helping him to his feet " Is the box your ship, doctor?" joanna asked "if it is, is there help inside?" with his weight against her she moved to the box.

The Doctor managed to nod and tried to get up.

joanna moved him as she held him up against the door. Reaching out she pulled at the handle "its locked, do you have a key" she felt him slipping and slipped her arms under his keeping him on his feet.

The Doctor nodded weakly and gathered his stregnth to get the TARDIS key from his pocket. finaly, as his strength left, he dropped it as he colapsed into unconsiousness.
